The City of Irvine website is proud to tell you a little bit about flag etiquette. However they’re doing poor etiquette in their attempt to tell you about it! See that image to the right? Well that is the image on their website ( http://www.ci.irvine.ca.us ) where they will give you a few tips and offer up a PDF to download for more information. For starters theres words across the US flag, but also, if you were to flip that flag to correct viewing angle, the stars don’t even point directly up as they are supposed to. The representation fo the flag in the graphic alone is incorrect even without the text.
I will give them some credit. They do give their residents a pdf to download which has some quick information, which is more than a lot of cities do
