Nice shawl
This is one of those situations where once again a celebrity has used the American flag as a photo op. As you see, Lucy Liu is wearing Old Glory around her shoulders like a shawl! I’m not 100% sure the reason for this photo shoot, nor do I truly care.
The US Flag Code states in the Repect For The Flag section, “The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free”
If one things for sure, Celebrities (….and politicians) sure do love to wear the American flag to make a buck, possibly how off their “patriotic:” flair! Maybe HollyWeird should do an Independent film on flag etiquette. Or maybe an awards show, the Flaggies.
