Nothing says “I love you” more and of course, is there for you when you never just know when you’ll need to pull out an….American flag. This special treat is known as the Old Glory Condom. Old Glory was launched at the MIT List Visual Arts Center in 1989 and was even seen in Playboy! The inspiration behind it was from old President Georgy Boy and the US Congress’ attempt to amend the Constitution to ban flag desecration, and the invisibility of HIV/AIDS in the government. There’s a lot more, and I’d recommend the read of its history.
Obviously for the most visible reasons you aren’t supposed to put an American flag on a condom, bad flag behavior, and who I am I kidding here by praising this little creation. However I think the story that goes with it is actually quite fascinating! And almost makes me give it a minor slap on the hand for being a wild flag but a thumbs up for Jay Critchley for the reasoning behind it!
